Your server lives in your home or office — not a shared data center. Here's exactly how it stays secure and reachable from anywhere.
Baumeister uses Cloudflare Tunnel to make your server accessible from the internet — without opening ports on your router or exposing your home IP address.
By default your server gets a Cloudflare-generated URL. For a real domain like myapp.com, register one separately — we recommend Cloudflare Registrar.
On your home or office network, your server is always available at baumeister.local — no internet required. Everything works locally even if your connection is down.
Cloudflare acts as a proxy — your server's IP is hidden from the public internet. Data in transit is TLS-encrypted between your users and Cloudflare, and between Cloudflare and your server.
